GALENA, ILL. -- A man was injured when he overturned his motorcycle in rural Galena Thursday afternoon.
Jerry A. Kiefer, 66, of Freeport, was driving on S. Blackjack Road near Galena when he lost control of his motorcycle. He left the roadway and overturned. The crash occurred about 2:16 p.m.
Kiefer was transported to Midwest Medical Center by Galena Ambulance, and he was later transported to Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
A condition update was not available Friday.
