A cyclist was injured after he was hit by a truck in Dubuque on Monday afternoon.
Raymond A. Smith, 48, of 1494 Elm St., was treated and released at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
According to police, just after 4 p.m., Timothy J. Riniker, 48, of Durango, Iowa, was stopped at a red light on 24th Street waiting to turn right onto Central Avenue. Smith was crossing 24th Street on his bicycle when Riniker proceeded to turn right, did not see Smith, and struck him.
