Maquoketa Community High School's Club Hope will perform cleanup on Bellevue Island on the Mississippi River from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 13.
Cleanup crews will depart from Spruce Harbor Dock in Bellevue. A free lunch is offered to all event volunteers.
Club Hope is affiliated with Oprah Winfrey's Angel Network and Free The Children, a nonprofit organization.
Students from Bellevue Community High School and Bellevue Marquette High School also will be participating. For more information, call club adviser Mindy Orris, 563-652-2451.
