Man injured in crash charged with OWI

BLANCHARD, Wis. -- A 39-year-old Blanchardville man escaped serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident late Wednesday night in Blanchardville Township.

Jason Horner was driving south on Lafayette County F around 10 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, left the highway and struck a tree, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department. Horner was taken to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was later arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and a valid warrant.

Horner was treated and released, then transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he remained on the warrant.
