HARPERS FERRY, Iowa — A Missouri man was killed Thursday in a one-vehicle crash near Harpers Ferry.
John Ramer, 43, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., was pronounced dead after the crash. Ramer was traveling north on X52 around 9:30 p.m. Thursday. About five miles north of Harpers Ferry, Ramer missed a curve in the road, drove down a steep embankment and rolled several times, according to a release by the Iowa State Patrol.
