Kind will hold health-care reform listening session

U. S. Rep. Ron Kind (D-Wis.) is conducting health-care listening sessions across the 3rd Congressional District, including Darlington, to meet with western Wisconsin families, listen to their thoughts and concerns and hear their feedback on current health care reform efforts.

The Darlington session is 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County's conference room. The hospital is located at 800 Clay St., on the city's east side.

Local physicians and hospital administrators will accompany Kind to answer questions and offer a provider's viewpoint on health-care reform. The listening sessions are open to the public and are intended to give citizens an opportunity to meet directly with Kind to discuss questions they have. The congressman and health professionals will answer questions from the public.
