New postmaster named

Johnny O'Shea has been named the new Platteville postmaster.

O'Shea has been with the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years. He has served as postmaster in East Dubuque, Ill., since 1998. He also has served as postmaster in two other Illinois communities, Fox River Grove and Wayne.

His service also includes assignments as accounting technician, Northern Illinois District finance specialist, and Postal

Officer-in-Charge in Galena and Carol Stream, Ill.
