NICC plans 2 Hall of Fame induction ceremonies
The Oct. 12 event will celebrate Calmar campus graduates, and the Nov. 16 ceremony will honor Peosta campus alumni.

PEOSTA, Iowa -- Northeast Iowa Community College will celebrate the college's outstanding alumni in two NICC Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.

The first ceremony, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 12, will celebrate four NICC alumni who are Calmar campus graduates. The second ceremony, on Monday, Nov. 16, will honor four alumni who are Peosta campus graduates.

This year's inductees are:

Calmar campus inductees

* Roger Hansen, NICC Accounting Specialist program, 1985. Hansen is vice president of Bank Iowa in New Hampton.

* Linus Kuboushek, NICC Accounting Specialist program, 1971. Kuboushek is second senior vice president of American Trust & Savings Bank in Dyersville.

* Scott Perkins, NICC Accounting Specialist program, 1979. Perkins is senior vice president of finance/systems for TriMark Corporation in New Hampton.

* Dale Schwade, NICC Agri-business Technology program, 1973. Schwade is the owner/manager of A & K Feed Grain Co. Inc. in Lime Springs. He also owns and operates a grain farming business.

Peosta campus inductees

* Jayne Anglin, NICC Dental Assisting program, 1974. Anglin provides dental chairside assistance and is an NICC clinical site instructor in Dubuque. She also teaches Dental Assisting courses at NICC's Peosta campus.

* Gracie Hessong, NICC Electronic Engineering Technology program, 2002. Hessong is a test and instrumentation specialist for John Deere in Dubuque. Hessong lives in Maquoketa.

* Geri Schilling, NICC Radiologic Technology program, 1989. Schilling is the Lean educator-CME coordinator for Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

* Bob Shafer, NICC Accounting Specialist program, 1973. Shafer is vice president and chief financial officer for Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
