Loras invites community to celebrate homecoming

The Dubuque community is invited to celebrate homecoming at Loras College this weekend.

New to this year's homecoming festivities is an Alumni Arts Festival that will feature the art of current and former faculty, current students and alumni. The festival will be open during normal library hours on the fourth floor of the Academic Resource Center.

Five Loras alumni also will be presented with the Distinguished Alumni Awards during the homecoming dinner Saturday night. They are Sister Bernadine Curoe, a Sister of the Visitation (1969), of Dubuque; Robert Kaliban (1955), of Long Island, N.Y.; the Rev. Paul Ouderkirk (1955), of Garnavillo, Iowa; Karen Enright (1989), of Chicago; and Michael Adams Jr. (1999), of McFarland, Wis.
