2 people injured in motorcycle accident

Two Cuba City, Wis., residents suffered minor injuries in a motorcycle accident Saturday evening, authorities said.

William Turner, 35, and passenger Sandee Turner, 38, were traveling north on Wisconsin 80 in front of the Elmo Club at 7:05 p.m. when a vehicle slowed in front of them. William Turner tried to brake to avoid hitting the vehicle and lost control of his 2006 motorcycle on a wet roadway.

Both Turners were thrown from the motorcycle and suffered minor injuries. William Turner was not medically transported. Sandee Turner was taken to Southwest Health Center in Platteville, which did not release details on her condition.
