LANCASTER, Wis. — An Oakfield man has been charged with theft in a Grant County construction case.

On March, 24, Ronald G. Morgan contacted Prairie Ready Mix of Prairie du Chien and ordered materials to be delivered to an address in the village of Muscoda, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department. Morgan paid for the materials with a check on a nonexistent account, the sheriff’s department said. He has not made good on the check.

The law enforcement agency did not disclose how much money was involved.
