Board OKs new fees

The Clayton County Board of Supervisors has approved a request by Sheriff Mike Tschirgi to charge for services not previously covered by sheriff department fees.

Fingerprinting, background checks and driver's license checks will now cost $10, and a nonsufficient fund check will cost $20. The cap on inmate room and board at the Clayton County Law Enforcement Center will increase from $1,000 to $3,000.
