Woman hurt in crash

 

EAST DUBUQUE, Ill. -- A Cuba City, Wis., woman was injured after she swerved to avoid an animal in the road and crashed her car, according to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Department.

Amber S. Taft, 19, was transported to The Finley Hospital in Dubuque, where she was treated and released. Around 11 p.m. Saturday, she was traveling west on U.S. 20, near Imbus Road, when she swerved and skidded into a ditch, authorities said.
