2 women hurt in rollover near Peosta

PEOSTA, Iowa -- Two women were injured Tuesday morning when their vehicle lost control along Sundown Road south of Peosta.

Ashley Haferbecker, 22, was approaching the intersection of Sundown Road and Prairie Creek Road around 10 a.m. when her vehicle rolled over, according to the Dubuque County Sheriff's Department.

The sheriff's department did not indicate which direction Haferbecker was traveling.

Haferbecker and a passenger, Kelly Thein, 24, were transported to The Finley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Both victims were treated and released.

The Dubuque County Sheriff's Department did not have information on Haferbecker's and Thein's hometowns.th
