Bellevue
Steve Lucke a finalist for state teaching award

Bellevue Middle School and High School art teacher Steve Lucke was among four finalists for the 2010 Iowa Teacher of the Year Award.

Sarah Brown Wessling, a high school language-arts teacher at Johnston High School, was the recipient of the award.

The award is given by the Iowa Department of Education and highlights strong teaching models in the state.
