The Galena Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the fourth annual Illinois Legislative Breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 at the DeSoto House Hotel, 230 S. Main St.
The event will focus on issues of importance to the state's business community. Appearing are state Sen. Tom Bivins and state Rep. Jim Sacia from the 89th District, who will discuss the 97th Session (2009-10) of the Illinois General Assembly, and Galena Mayor Terry Renner and Galena City Administrator Mark Moran, who will speak on local issues.
