Talk will focus on work of Archie Lieberman

Esther Lieberman will display examples of her late husband's work and discuss his commitment to depicting Jo Daviess County over several decades at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at the Galena Public Library.

The Power Point demonstration also will include examples of his photographs of world leaders, as well as photos displayed in Look and other national magazines from the 1950s through the 1990s.

Archie Lieberman lived in Jo Daviess County for more than 35 years. His books Farm Boy and Neighbors are about families and places familiar to residents of this area. Lieberman's photographs have been displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Art Institute of Chicago.
