Dubuquer faces drug charges after traffic stop

A Dubuque man is facing drug charges after Jo Daviess County authorities did a traffic stop Tuesday morning on U.S. 20 near Mount Hope Road in rural Galena.

Michael A. Sinclair, 23, was stopped around 9:30 a.m. by sheriff's deputies and members of the Jo Daviess County Narcotics and Investigations Unit. Authorities found 50 individually wrapped baggies of marijuana -- a little more than two pounds.

Sinclair was taken to the county jail in Galena where he was charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to deliver, obstructing an officer and resisting arrest.
