Wisconsin level 3 playoffs

Burlington Catholic Central (10-1) at Shullsburg (8-3)

Kickoff -- 7 p.m.

Radio -- WGLR-FM 97.7

Last year -- Did not play

Outlook -- Shullsburg appears to be heating up at just the right time, but it'll really have to crank up the heat in doing battle with the defending state champions.

Burlington has owned the Six Rivers Conference the past two postseasons, increasing its record to 4-0 with a 41-6 triumph over Benton/Scales Mound last week.

Shullsburg has shown what it can do this postseason after a fourth-place finish in the Six Rivers. Whether it was a dominating performance in Level 1 (49-8 over Cambria-Friesland), or winning a close one in Level 2 (13-12 over No. 2 seed Randolph), the Miners are proving they have the intangibles to win any game.

TH prediction -- Catholic Central 30, Shullsburg 17.
