Man injured in 2-vehicle accident

A two-car accident Thursday morning in rural Dubuque County sent a Cuba City, Wis. man to the hospital.

Robert J. Harris, 26, was traveling southbound on John Deere Road around 7 a.m. Thursday when he struck a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Mark E. Zimmerman, of Dubuque, who was pulling his out of the driveway at 10736 Daisy Hill Lane.

Zimmerman, who was uninjured in the crash, was cited by the Dubuque County Sheriff's Department for failure to yield.

Harris was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt and transported to The Finley Hopsital.

A spokeswoman with The Finley Hospital did not have a patient listing for Harris.
