Gary Dolphin, the voice of the Iowa Hawkeyes, will be the guest speaker tonight at Bellevue High School's fall sports awards banquet.
The event, which includes a potluck dinner, begins at 6:30 p.m. at Horizon Hall. Scheduled to be recognized are athletes in cross county, volleyball and football.
Dolphin, a Cascade, Iowa, native, has been the play-by-play voice of Iowa football and men's basketball since 1996.
He also worked as the voice of Northwestern basketball and network television coordinator for the Chicago Bears in the early 1990s.
