The Clarke College Wind Ensemble will present a musical tribute to area veterans at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the Jansen Music Hall on the Clarke campus. Admission is free.
The concert will feature patriotic songs that honor veterans.
Members of the Clarke ensemble will be accompanied by members of the University of Dubuque Band. The Color Guard from American Legion Post 6 in Dubuque will contribute its services, and senior music education major Ben Drury, who served in the Iraq war and is the son of a veteran, will perform a trumpet solo from Karl King's piece, "Sons of Veterans."
