Rep. Bruce Braley (D-Iowa) visited The Finley Hospital Tuesday, informing local hospital executives and physicians about provisions in the final version of the House Health Care Reform Bill that could alleviate some of the Medicare reimbursement disparities that have plagued Iowa for years. "We're very excited about the progress we've made," Braley said. The language in the health-care reform bill would change Medicare to a quality based payment system in two years, while studying and adjusting geographic differences in hospital and physician payments.
