Sen. Roger Stewart, D-Preston, announced Thursday that he will not seek re-election to the Iowa State Senate in 2010.
Since January 2003, Stewart has represented Senate District 13, which covers all of Jackson County; the northern part of Clinton County, including the city of Clinton; and a portion of southern Dubuque County.
