Synopsis
What it's about: Canadian Natalie MacMaster and her band will debut her annual holiday show in the United States with a first performance in Platteville. Her music style, the Cape Breton tradition, draws from Celtic music. Besides fiddling, she is an accomplished step dancer. The Platteville Children's Choir will join her on stage.

* MacMaster has recorded 10 albums in 27 years, earning Juno and East Coast Music Awards, as well as honorary degrees from Niagara, Trent and St. Thomas universities, and the Order of Canada.
* Her uncle is fiddle prodigy Buddy MacMaster and her cousins include fiddlers Andrea Beaton and the last John Allan Cameron.
