Officials unable to determine cause of deadly Blanchardville fire
Authorities say foul play not involved in bar blaze that killed 4 people early Monday.

BLANCHARDVILLE, Wis. - A fire that killed four people early Monday morning above a Blanchardville tavern was not arson, but authorities were unable to determine the cause of the fire at this time.

Investigators say there were no indications that the fire was the result of foul play or any other suspicious circumstances, according to a release by the

Wisconsin Attorney General's Office. Authorities have concluded that the fire's cause was "undetermined," an official classification for fire investigators.
