Teachers credit union changes name
Dubuque Teachers Credit Union and its members have decided to change its name to Integrus Credit Union by the end of 2013.
The new name will pay tribute to the service to members employed in educational institutions and their families. It also will allow the credit union to seek continued growth in a competitive marketplace. Integrus Credit Union will work to enhance the lives of members by providing value based solutions accurately, efficiently, and with a personal touch.
The Dubuque Teachers Credit Union was formed in 1934 by a small group of teachers that wanted to serve fellow Dubuque Community School District teachers whose financial needs were not being met by other financial institutions in Dubuque at the time.
The credit union's success has allowed it to expand beyond its original field of membership of teachers in Dubuque.
