UPDATE:

Lafayette County Sheriff Scott Pedley said in 9 p.m. statement that the identities of the three victims found dead in a rural South Wayne home will not be released at this time.

Pedley stated in a press release that the Lafayette County Coroner's office has not yet positively identified all of the deceased. The identification process has been delayed because of the extensive amount of crime scene evidence that crime lab personnel need to collect. Crime lab staff, DCI agents and Lafayette County officials are continuing to investigate the scene.

Once the coroner's staff has completed the identification process, the names will be released, Pedley said.
