Dubuque Police are looking for a male suspect wanted in connection with a robbery at the Dubuque Bank and Trust branch in the Kennedy Mall parking lot.

Police say a man wearing a blue sweatshirt entered the bank at about 12:20 p.m. and handed the teller a note, claiming he had a weapon.

Police are searching for a small silver car with no license plates.

Bank management says that the robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money, however no one was injured during the robbery.

The Kennedy branch is now closed, according to bank officials, but all other DB&T branches remain open. Regular customers of DB&T Kennedy Mall branch should monitor local news media and the bank’s Website at www.dubuquebank.com for updates with regard to the re-opening of the facility, officials said.

Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Douglas J. Horstmann, said bank personnel are handling the robbery according to already established procedures.
