An Illinois woman was injured Saturday when police said she failed to obey a stop sign.

Marilyn J. Gilmore, 67, of Lena, Ill., was transported to Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque, according to police records. Hospital officials did not have her listed as a patient.

Police said Gilmore drove through a stop sign at the intersection of 21st and Jackson streets at about 11:45 a.m., causing a collision with a vehicle driven by Christina M. Krier, 25, of 1356 Thomas Place. Gilmore complained of pain throughout her body, according to police records.
