Habitat for Humanity's stolen tools replaced, work continues

Posted: Saturday, July 26, 2014 12:00 am | Updated: 6:23 pm, Sat Jul 26, 2014.

Work resumed on a Dubuque home today, thanks to a local business that donated tools to replace those stolen recently.

Dubuque/Jackson Counties Habitat for Humanity had all of its power tools, collectively valued at more than $3,800, stolen last week from a trailer parked at 2300 Washington St. The group is working on a home at that address that was relocated as part of the city’s Bee Branch Watershed flood mitigation project.
