ORO VALLEY, Ariz. -- Richard D. Krausman, 81, of Oro Valley, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Vistoso Memorial Chapel, 2285 E. Rancho Vistoso Blvd., Oro Valley.
Richard worked for the Naval Weapons Center in China Lake, Calif., from 1951 to 1983.
He was a physicist, an adamant bicyclist and a lover of the great outdoors.
He was a loving husband of 17 years to Joanne; loving father to Daniel, Douglas (Marla), David (Mary) and Barbara; a stepfather to Mary (Bill) Witkewicz, Michael (Maxine) McLane and Thomas (Melody) McLane; grandfather of 13; great-grandfather of two; and a brother of James Krausman.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's name may be given to the Parkinson's Lewy Bodies Research.
