Mary Lou LaScala, 84, a seven-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., formerly of Dubuque, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at Western Regional Medical Center.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1691 N. Oatman Road, Bullhead City.
She was born on Jan. 16, 1925, in Dubuque, daughter of Archie and Irene Schmitt.
Mary Lou was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, and a member of the Legion of Mary.
Surviving are her son, Theodore "Ted" (Debra), of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Brenda, of Kent, Wash., and Darren, of San Fernando, Calif.; three sisters, Kathleen Steele Keller, of Bullhead City, Nancy Bonette, of Santa Clarita, Calif., and Rita Wiebersch, of Dubuque; and stepdaughter, Kathy Pellegrino, of Wayne, N.J.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; two brothers, Roger and Bill; and a sister, Ruth Ann.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in her name to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (new), 1691 N. Oatman Road, Bullhead City, AZ 86442.
