DAVENPORT, Iowa -- Brittany A. Nelson, 18, of 1520 W. 14th St., Davenport, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at her home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Davenport, with the Rev. Jack Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in the Davenport Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, at Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, where there will be a wake service at 4:30 p.m. Friends also may call after 9:30 a.m. Monday, at the church.
She was born on June 19, 1991, in Davenport, daughter of Lance and Joyce (Fiedler) Nelson. She attended Central School in Davenport.
Brittany was employed at Taco John's in Davenport.
Surviving are a son, Trenton Nelson; her parents, Lance and Joyce Nelson, of Davenport; her biological mother, Bonnie Nelson, of Joppa, Ill.; five sisters, Chelsea, Megan and her daughter, Miley, Hillary, Jennifer and her son, Elijah, and Victoria, all of Davenport; and two brothers, Austin Lewis, of Joppa, and Landen Nelson, of Davenport; her grandparents, Deborah Jolley, of Georgia, and Al Jolley, of Davenport, Arlene Hogan, of Dubuque, and Henry Fiedler, of Hopkinton; her great-grandmother, Elaine White, of Georgia; special aunts, Penny Hogan and Barbie Lewis; and a very special friend, officer Chris Outlaw.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Fred and Pauline Hogan and Lawrence and Opal Fiedler.
